About Ray Wenzel
Ray Wenzel has been designing trendsetting contract and residential wallcoverings, textiles, and laminate surfaces for the interiors industry for over twenty-five years. He has worked extensively with crafts people and manufacturers in the U.S., South America, Europe and Asia, in addition to having operated his own fabric printing and painting workshop in New York City. His work is included in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum and the Rhode Island Museum of Art. Ray has taught surface design at both Parsons School of Design and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, and holds a BFA from Carnegie-Mellon University.
